Introduction to AVEVA™ Model-Driven MES

The Introduction to Model-Driven MES course is a 3-day, instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the Model-Driven Manufacturing Execution System (MES) framework and its associated best practices. The course will provide a comprehensive overview of the recommended best practices to be used in applying Workflow Management to build MES solutions. Topics will be presented in lectures and reinforced through hands-on exercises.

AVEVA™ System Platform + OMI

The AVEVA™ System Platform course is an 8-day instructor led course that provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use these features and functions for plant modeling.

The first week of the class demonstrates how to use AVEVA™ Application Server technology to connect to field devices, process data, run scripts, handle alarms, and historize alarms and events.

AVEVA™ InTouch HMI

The tag-based AVEVA™ InTouch HMI course is a 5-day, instructor-led class that explains how to create and configure a stand-alone InTouch application using Industrial Graphics. The course provides a fundamental understanding of the basic principles of InTouch HMI visualization software and the steps necessary to develop a Human Machine Interface system for a plant floor or facility.

AVEVA™ MES – Performance

The Manufacturing Execution System – Performance course is a 3-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a working knowledge of the features and functionality of MES Performance. The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use MES Performance. The class will demonstrate how to configure and deploy a data collection system to analyze and report equipment utilization, availability, quality, and performance using Application Server objects. Both the MES Client and Web Portal will be addressed.

The course covers the components and capabilities of the software, as well as topics for configuring and defining an operations model, products, and production capabilities.

The AVEVA™ Plant SCADA Configuration course is a 4-day class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the AVEVA™ Plant SCADA software. It covers topics on designing Plant SCADA projects and becoming familiar with an integrated engineering interface called Plant SCADA Studio. The course specifically covers how to design a project from start to finish and configure various features, including equipment hierarchy. This interactive course includes hands-on practice with plant control, data collection, trending, and reporting.
